Salt Creek Park District

The Salt Creek Park District was established in 1956 and serves approximately 6,500 residents from Palatine, Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows. Its mission is to provide for the community a quality park and recreation system that is committed to excellence in service and facilities, as well as being sensitive to individuals and economics. This small park district has a family-friendly atmosphere and staff that truly care about residents. The park district is probably best known for popular special events such as Harvest Hayride, Youth Obstacle Course Race, Patio Entertainment Nights, and of course, their annual Twin Lakes Triathlon. Salt Creek Park District also offers a preschool program. Visit park district facilities at Rose Park, Salt Creek Sports Center or Twin Lakes. For more information, visit www.saltcreekpd.com.
